Opening May 2 for the 2009 Season!

Shop the market and know exactly where your food has been! No trucked-in, aging food here... just lots of organic and natural food, from local vendors. You can create a fabulous, elegant dinner, or get your food for the week at the Storrs Farmers Market. We have it all. Need a main course? Choose fresh-caught fish or locally raised beef (in all the greatest cuts!) Get a quiche, vegetarian chilli or lasagna. To complement your entre, choose sweet, succulent fruits and vegetables, honey, award-winning maple syrup and herbs for seasoning or garnishes, and fresh breads. Pastries, treats and goodies, and cold drinks complete your meal! You'll need flowers for the table, and perhaps a handcrafted vase. Beeswax candles (hand-dipped, of course) add just the right flair to your dinner.

Snacks? You've come to the right place. Cookies, single-servings, nuts, and home-made pickles are great to nibble on. Stocking up? Buy fruits and vegetables in bulk to freeze or can at home. Pumpkins? We have 'em!

Need a gift (or just a special treat for yourself) ? We have hand-dyed, hand-spun wool, handcrafted jewelry, potted plants for your garden or patio, garden ornaments, wind chimes, and hand-cast pots, even greeting cards by local artists!

We're conveniently located in Storrs, in the parking lot between EO Smith High School and the Mansfield Town Hall, on Route 195, and we're open every Saturday, rain or shine, hot or cold. Entertainment weekly. Come join in the fun!

Opening May 2, and continuing every Saturday through November 2009 -- 3 - 6 PM -- Rain or Shine.

Ample free parking, and little red wagons will help you to your car!
